Human Governance @ IMD

One of the issues that is debated subsequent to the catastrophic meltdown in the financial markets of the US and Europe is the failure of values among the people who are involved in those markets. 

During a dinner in Kuala Lumpur, Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz ironically commented that he would be concern if the investment bankers in the US do not pay themselves huge bonuses even when the banks are receiving funds from the government because that is what they were taught at business schools.

Professor Aziuddin Ahmad, the Professor of Risk Management at the UPM Graduate School of Management, argues that bringing human governance into management is the way forward. Professor Aziuddin is the co-author of the book; Human Governance: A Paradigm Shift in Governing Corporations.

Recently Professor Aziuddin was invited by the IMD to share his thoughts on this issue which was well received.
